Justin Leckie
Justin was at the Ipswich masters & was entered into two categories. The first category was 2nd Kyu and below, he won gold . He unfortunately seriously injured his knee in his second fight but ignored it and carried on. He then went into the veterans group which mainly consisted of Dan grades, he won his first fight in that group against a Kyu grade, then had to retire in his second fight due to his leg giving way whilst fighting a Dan grade.
Justin has been doing Judo for 10 months and on his first grading won all his fights and was awarded the grade of 5th Kyu.
It must be said, that he has a fantastic attitude towards judo competition, which on this occasion (at Ipswich) was his undoing. Everyone at the Club wishes him a speedy recovery from his Knee injury & awaits his return to the mat !
